Jonathan Lewellen
Jonathan Lewellen is a consultant to Continuum providing advice in the areas of investor and stock price behaviour.
Jonathan is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Hanover, New Hampshire, USA. Jonathan gained his PhD in Finance and Master of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Rochester, and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University.
Jonathan's research focuses on stock prices and investor behavior, with additional interests in corporate finance. He currently studies tests of the CAPM, herding and price pressure in stock markets, and the tax effects of corporate financing decisions. Jonathan's research has been published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Accounting and Economics. He won the 2006 Fama/DFA Prize from the Journal of Financial Economics for the best paper published on Capital Markets and Asset Pricing.
Prior to joining the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2005, Jonathan was the Jon D. Gruber Associate Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 1999. In addition, Jonathan is a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research.
